Creating and view Holiday

The Holiday Master section is used to create and manage holidays for the entire year within the organization. All holidays created in this master are displayed on both the Dashboard and the Employee Calendar for easy reference. It helps employees stay informed about official holidays and plan their schedules accordingly. The system also supports optional holidays through a special holiday type called “IsOptional.” Holidays marked as “IsOptional” will not appear on the Dashboard like regular holidays. However, these holidays will be available in the Attendance Optional Holiday Application under the holiday list dropdown. Employees can select from this list and apply for an optional holiday based on company policy.

Navigation – Click on HR Corner –> Click on Dashboard Items –> Click on Holiday –> Click on Add button –> Fill Details –> Click on Save Button.

Purpose of Holiday:
The Holiday feature is used to define and communicate company, national, regional, and optional holidays applicable to employees. It helps employees plan their work schedules and leave effectively.

Benefits of Holiday:
The Holiday feature ensures transparency in holiday schedules, supports workforce planning, improves attendance management, and helps employees stay informed about upcoming non-working days throughout the year.

Click on Dashboard Items, then Click on Holiday master and then Click on Add button.

Fill Deatils and then Click on Save Button.

And if the Holiday is Marked as Optional Holiday then this Holiday will be Visible on the Screen of Leave application under the Optional Holiday.

Is Optional Checkbox must be enabled to show the Holiday as Optional Holiday.

Visible on the Index page.

Optional Holiday list is visible on an Optional Holiday Application under the holiday list dropdown.
